Youth Services
Safe Harbor’s Youth Program provides family-focused crisis intervention and individual supportive services to children who have experienced the trauma of domestic or sexual violence in their lives.
Our goal is to:
- Provide Children with Physical and Emotional Safety
- Structure and Consistency
- Opportunities to Process their Feelings and Experiences
We create this environment through age-appropriate play and activities that encourage creativity and expression. The Safe Harbor Youth Program is open to all children residing in shelter, or any child with a parent attending the Safe Harbor Support Group. Children do not need to have a parent participating in the Safe Harbor program, but intake in advance is required.
