Support Groups
Safe Harbor offers a number of different support groups to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Support groups can offer many different benefits to those who attend - increase feelings of safety, connection to others working through similar barriers, lessen isolation created by abuse, and connect participants with other Safe Harbor services and community resources. Most of our support groups are peer-based, meaning participants share and support each other. Children’s services are sometimes available at the same time as support groups so that children experiencing abuse can receive services as well.
Please call us at 920.452.7640 or 1.800.499.7640 if you are interested in speaking to someone about joining a support group.
