Emergency Shelter
The Safe Harbor Emergency Shelter program offers housing, food, clothing, support and resources for survivors of domestic violence and their children who are without a safe place to live because of the violence in their lives.
Our emergency shelter is a communal living environment. When in shelter, Safe Harbor provides residents different supportive services, including but not limited to, the following:
- Legal Assistance
- Support and Counseling
- Referrals to Additional Community Resources
- Access to Medical and Social Services
Residents receive individual case management and assist one another through resident support groups. Additional supportive services are available for children whose parents use the shelter program who need help working through the trauma they have experienced from witnessing or being a victim of abuse.
